Stars 3, Flames 1 & Stars 3, Coyotes 0
Sorry for being late with this, but for those in the DFW area you know we got some heavy snow. I live right by DFW Airport and over 24 hours we got 12.5 inches of snow, something unheard of in Dallas. So that happened Thursday and into Friday morning hours. It was actually the most in a 24 hour period ever here in the area. I did get to catch the end of the Flames game and all of the PHX game, but then had no internet for 2 and a half [...]

Blackhawks 4, Stars 3 (shootout)
It is not a win, but against one of the best teams in the league, the Stars have to be okay with leaving Chicago with one point. Sure it is not a win on the road like this team needs to start getting, but it was a better effort on the road, and they kept themselves in the game and forced it to overtime against one of the top 5 teams in the league. The Chicago Blackhawks though get the win in the 5th round of the shootout over the Dallas Stars. And all this while [...]

Dallas 4, Phoenix 0 (and one confused fan-base)
The Stars played just about perfect Saturday night. I don’t know where this team has been, and it seems a lot of people are asking that too. Sure, they have been great at home but last night’s effort was solid. They level of hockey that some thought this team could play this year, yet we have only seen it a handful of teams and all of them seem to come at the AAC. The home fans love going to the Stars games right now, because at home they look like a top 10 [...]

Columbus 2, Dallas 1
That game was ridiculous. I have seen 10 year-old teams play with more heart and desire then the Dallas Stars did last night in their game at the Columbus Blue Jackets. It was bad. For two and a half periods the Stars looked like a team up a goal or two and was just going through the motions and not let the other team score. There was one big problem with this though, THEY WERE DOWN 1-0!!! This game was hard to watch. Dallas was getting pucks at the Columbus net, but very few were quality shots. [...]

Stars 4, Wild 2
Some one tell Marty Turco to play like that all the time. I was in the building and still almost did not believe how he played last night. Turco stopped 40 of 42 shots and the Dallas Stars again beat the Minnesota Wild in Dallas, 4-2 last night. The 40 saves were the most Marty has stopped this season and he looked like the Marty that has been the man in net for this team for years, and a top 10 goalie in the NHL for most of this decade. I don’t know if Turco was trying [...]

Phoenix 4, Dallas 2
Well, there goes the chance to get 3 wins in a row again. The Dallas Stars came out Sunday not looking focused and turning over the puck, and fall to the division rival Phoenix Coyotes 4-2. Dallas fell behind 2-0 after one and could not get back, as Bryzgalov once again stumps the Stars. The boys in black did pull it back to 2-1 at one point and looked overall like the better team in the last 2 periods, but it is a 3 period game (most of the time) and the turnovers and goof-ups in the [...]
