It’s been real, but not real fun Dallas peps. The Stars are still fighting through the end of the season and trying to pick up points in their final games. But after dropping Sunday night’s game to Phoenix in the shootout 3-2, Dallas has only 10 games left and is just too far behind for anything to help them at this point. What is hard to deal with is that this team, after so many years of being in the playoffs each year, will now miss the post-season for the 2nd year in a row and that after only one season some fans are calling for Marc Crawford’s job. Although I am with many fans as far as not liking Crawford to begin with, I don’t know if you can fire the guy after one season with a new GM, aging goalie, and defense that at times looks a questionable as the new healthcare bill. Although the offensive output overall has been good this year, his system does not fit the players Dallas has in place and has not grown on the players that are here. My choice would have been to go with a different coach this year, but it is not my choice and if GM Joe brought here I hope Joe really did see something in Crawford.
