9/24 – Stars vs Avs
By Editorial Staff
Tonight the Stars look to pick-up their first win of the preseason while hosting the Colorado Avalanche. Sadly there is not any way to follow this game with there being no TV or radio broadcasts, but anyone going to the game might see a better game then Tuesday night. It appears that a lot of the top players will be in the lineup tonight.
New starter Kari Lehtonen will be in the net and is expected to play the whole game, with Bachman playing the role of backup if needed. The top line of James Neal, Brad Richards, and Loui Eriksson will be playing tonight after having the Tampa game off. So hopefully that will bring more of a scoring punch, and with Stephane Robidas also in the lineup the home fans will get to see the top powerplay unit on the ice some tonight.
Also some of top guys not on the top line will make their preseason debut tonight. Big names like Steve Ott and Jamie Benn will be skating tonight for the Stars. Still have not seen the Avs lineup for tonight, but it doesn’t matter who they have skating in my opinion. We will have the better part of our NHL roster playing tonight and our top PP core, along with Lehtonen in net, so it would be a good confidence boost to see Dallas get a win on home ice tonight.
