Stars host Sid the kid

The Dallas Stars get back to business tonight, hosting the Pittsburgh Penguins down at the AAC tonight. The Pens make a rare visit to Dallas, as the two teams only play each other once per season. Last season the Stars lost 6-3 in Pittsburgh, and were never close in that game. Hopefully the Stars can get some better goaltending, something they have had almost every game so far this season, and keep up their better PK play from the last couple of games.

The Pens come in wounded, as they will be without a few big name guys on their roster. Malkin, Letang, Michalek, and Goligoski are all suffering from injuries but could play tonight. It will be interesting to see who of those guys do actually suit up and who sits out tonight. Also Jordan Staal will be out 6 weeks, as he was expected to be back this week but broke his hand in practice Monday. If the Stars wanted a good time to play this team, it is now. They are a quick and offensively talented team, and right now they are struggling with injury issues.

The Stars got a couple of days to rest up, since their last action was on Saturday night. Kari Lehtonen will be back in the net, and got the night of Saturday, meaning he got some extra rest and should be good to go for a stretch of games. Woywitka and Barch will be the scratches again. Here is the lineup for tonight:

James Neal- Brad Richards-Loui Eriksson
Brenden Morrow-Mike Ribeiro-Jamie Benn
Steve Ott-Tom Wandell-Adam Burish
Brian Sutherby-Toby Petersen-Brandon Segal

Nicklas Grossman-Stephane Robidas
Karlis Skrastins-Matt Niskanen
Mark Fistric-Trevor Daley
