Coyotes at Stars: Stars Look to Rebound After Loss In Chicago

The Dallas Stars are coming back home to the American Airlines Center to face their rival the Phoenix Coyotes who are coming off a 6-3 loss against the San Jose Sharks. Both teams enter this game looking to bounce back from three-goal deficit defeats–for the Coyotes, in their season opener against the San Jose Sharks 6-3 and for the Stars, a loss in a back-to-back series with the Chicago Blackhawks.

Kari Lehtonen will be starting in net as he was spectacular in the season opener against the Blackhawks and is hoping to help his team rebound after the loss in Chicago. Mike Smith should be starting in net as he will be rebounding after a very rough outing against the San Jose Sharks.

Both teams have injuries to report as Phoenix defensemen Michal Rozsival (head/face) is day-to-day while Dallas defensemen Nicklas Grossman (Groin) and Adam Pardy (rib) are day-to-day and both are expected to be out again.

The puck drops at 5 CST as this game between the Dallas Stars and Phoenix Coyotes will show which team can rebound from a horribly embarrassing loss. The big question for both teams in this game: who is the hungrier team and who wants the win early in the year. This game will be a tough divisional match for both teams.
