Yesterday, Allen Americans defenseman Tyler Ludwig was recalled by the Houston Aeros of the American Hockey League. In his second year with the Allen Americans, he has scored three goals with 27 assists in 28 games. Who will replace Ludwig and his 30 points is still in question? My guess it would be Brett Skinner who is coming back after missing a few games with a lower body injury. As we all know, the NHL lockout has ended and many players like Alec Martinez will return to their NHL teams. Right now the Americans are in first place with a record of 23-5-2 for first place in the CHL. Their next game is tomorrow against the Fort Worth Brahmas.

The Allen Americans announced today that defenseman Tyler Ludwig has been called up to the Houston Aeros of the American Hockey League. Allen is the Central Hockey League affiliate for Houston.
In 28 games this season for the Americans, Ludwig has 30 points, 3 goals, and 27 assists. He is tied for second overall in the Central Hockey League in defenseman points only one behind Jesse Dudas of Bloomington who leads the league with 31.
