The two teams face off tomorrow at 7:05 at the Tim Toyota’s center. Both teams are coming off loses as the Americans lost 4-3 in Overtime against the Fort Worth Brahmas while the Arizona Sundogs lost 2-1 against the Denver Cutthroats. The last time these two teams met, the Americans won 4-3 in shootout as Darryl Bootland shot the lone shootout goal.

Yesterday at the Allen Community Ice Rink before leaving to Arizona, the Americans worked on their passing drills, the power play, one on one drills, power play drills and trying to get the puck out of their zone when there is pressure in their own zone. They also looked upbeat and ready for the series against the Sundogs.

Who to watch for: Darryl Bootland who has 11 points (6 goals, 5 assists) in the seven games against the Arizona Sundogs. Also Adam Pineault, who scored in the 4-3 OT loss against Fort Worth Brahmas, has 7 points (4goals, 3 assists) against the Sundogs.

If the Americans can keep the puck out of their zone and have a fast start to the game, the Americans will not only snap their two game losing streak but will also get their 25 win of the season.
