The changes in the Stars locker room have risen, and continue to raise eyebrows. And it’s not just current Stars players who are gearing up to impress this season. Expectations are high on both ends of trades and acquisitions, and training camp is sure to be interesting as the roster chock full of new names gears up and works toward establishing a powerful chemistry.

Tyler Seguin has been a hot topic since they day Stars fans heard he would be spending this season in a Dallas jersey. His performance with the Bruins the past couple of years certainly helped the 21-year-old make a name for himself, and the Twitter scandal definitely put him in the forefront of fans’ attention. So when current and former coaches met for Team Canada orientation, what else would arise in conversation?

Seguin is only one facet of the newness that has enveloped the Stars, and the fans aren’t the only ones noticing a change in the atmosphere. With training camp just around the corner, the entire team is preparing for a slew of new personalities, new methods and new mentalities. But the guys who’ve been around for a while see the newness as a good thing.
