Good afternoon Stars nation. Technically it’s no longer the morning but we’re still going to do the Morning Skate nonetheless.

It was another strong performance from the Stars last night as they defeated the Penguins 3-0. Kari Lehtonen had a shutout and Jamie Benn pitched in with a goal. That’s 6 points in 3 games now for Benn. Looks like we were way off with our trade column.

Saturday night was a big win for non-traditional hockey markets everywhere. The Stadium Series was in southern California as the Ducks defeated the Kings 3-0.

The atmosphere was truly majestic.
