Dallas Stars Vs Florida Panthers: TV Listings & More

A whole lot has happened since the last time these two teams met on opening night in Dallas in early October.  The Panthers have stunk up the joint most night’s with one of the worst offenses in the league, and the #1 star on opening Tim Thomas was traded at the trade deadline after the Panthers reacquired Roberto Luongo.  The Panthers also continue to form their team in the shape of the Chicago Blackhawks South when they traded Kris Versteeg back to Chicago for prospects Jimmy Hayes and Dillon Olsen, and then at the trade deadline traded draft picks for center Brandon Pirri.  The future isn’t now for the Panthers as they are playing out the string in the last week of the season.

The Stars on the other hand since that opening night loss are one point ahead of the Phoenix Coyotes with 1 game at hand in the race for the #8 seed in the Western Conference. Last night was a huge bounce back game after a very disappointing loss in Carolina earlier this week. The Stars scored early and often last night and will be looking for more  of the same tonight to put the Panthers to bed early along with their retired age crowd.
