The Avalanche Or Blues, Who Should Stars Fans Be Rooting For Tomorrow?

For the first time since 2008 the Dallas Stars will be a participant in the Stanley Cup playoffs and the last team to qualify to boot.  The Stars are in after their win last night, but now will have to wait one day to find out who they will be playing in the opening round of the playoffs. So the question to you is who would you like the Stars face?

The Stars after losing by a combined score of 9-3 to the Blues at the beginning of the season have now defeated the Blues the last 3 games including last night’s playoff clincher 3-0.  The Stars record versus the Blues mimics the Blues season which started out red hot, stayed consistent then fell apart at the end with 5 straight losses. The Blues are injured and have lost their winning ways but they are still a big physical team that will become heavier and heavier after each game in a 7 game series.

The Avs on the other hand are red hot to finish off the season minus their loss on the road last night in San Jose.  The Avs like the Stars have a roster full of young and inexperienced playoff talent that will be fun to watch. The Stars only defeated the Avalanche once and haven’t seen them play since the Olympic break. The Avs are young and fast compared to the Blues so a first round matchup could be a track meet compared to a Blues series.

So who do you want the Stars to play and who will you be rooting for tomorrow?
