Overall synopsis:

Trevor Daley, what a year it was. For a fairly high percentage of the season, he was unstoppable. The pairing with Goligoski made the two almost flawless on the ice. They completed each other for the whole year.  He proved himself not just in the regular season, but put up fantastic numbers in the playoffs. Trevor Daley, being the only current Dallas Star that was a member of the ’08 Cup run and the ’14 run, he’s spent a good time in Dallas, basically his entire NHL career. He is not in the need of a new contract but the Stars could be looking for an extension soon.

He is in no terms needing to be traded and proved that to us on the ice this year. Dallas is in the hunt for a big man to play in the back with Daley and crew but they know it won’t be easy to obtain one. Possible trade targets for the Stars on the blue line would be Dillon or Rome, but Daley is here to stay, so feel free to buy an extremely overpriced green sweater this offseason with the number 6 on the back. You might possibly be able to put an “A” on the shoulder as well? He deserves to be here and we are very fortunate that he is a key part in our franchise. Go Stars
