Stars Power Countdown: 87 Days

Another day closer, Stars fans! There was a trivia question in yesterday’s countdown, just in case anyone missed it. But no matter, 87 days till puck drop!
The Dallas Stars have been busy this offseason, as you all know. From the draft to free agency and trades, they have become the hot topic of the NHL and the team that everyone talks about. But will all this new talent be able to raise the Stars up from their current status from last season? Here’s how the Stars ranked through the league in multiple categories during the 2013-2014 regular season:
Goals For: 10th place (2.82 GF/G)
Goals Against: 17th place (2.72 GA/G)
OT/SO Record: 29th place (6-11)
Penalties: 18th place (357 penalties, 11.0 PIM/G)
Power Play: 23rd place (15.9% on the PP)
Penalty Kill: 21st place (81.4% on the PK)
+/-: 9th place (+11 for the season)
