Dallas Stars Power Countdown: 84 Days: Poll

Good afternoon, Stars fans! I hope this massive rain storm isn’t glooming up any of your days. We have successfully inched our way one day closer to the start of the Stars regular season and their home opener against the Chicago Blackhawks! 84 days until puck drop.

Considering I have started a Central division team-by-team report regarding their offseason moves, I thought another poll would be helpful. I am in the middle of doing these posts and I have so far finished the Chicago Blackhawks article (click here) and the Colorado Avalanche article (click here).

But if you have a grasp on the offseason, this poll should be rather simple.

The Central division saw an astounding turnout last year, as five of the seven teams found their way to the postseason, considering the last three playoff spots were guaranteed for the Pacific division leaders. So, as you can see, the Central division seems to own the Western Conference. Will that happen next season, though?

Here’s a quick look at the key additions from each team:

Chicago Blackhawks:

-Re-signed RW Patrick Kane and C Jonathan Toews.

-Signed C Brad Richards.

Colorado Avalanche:

-Signed RW Jarome Iginla.

-Traded for D Brad Stuart.

Dallas Stars:

-Traded for C Jason Spezza.

-Signed RW Ales Hemsky.

Minnesota Wild:

-Signed LW Thomas Vanek.

-Signed LW Brett Sutter.

Nashville Predators:

-Traded for LW James Neal.

-Signed C Olli Jokinen.

St. Louis Blues:

-Signed C Paul Stastny.

-Re-signed F Jori Lehtera.

Winnipeg Jets:

-Signed C Mathieu Perreault.

-Re-signed G Michael Hutchinson.

Here’s your chance to tell which teams you think will find their way to the postseason this year from the Central division. In the poll below, choose which teams will end up in the top 3 below. We won’t do wild card yet considering that is still a mystery involving the Pacific division. So, VOTE for the top three below:
