Dallas Stars Power Countdown: 58 Days: IT'S RAINING ICE

It’s Tuesday! Which means I start back to school VERY soon. But it also means that we are getting closer to the season opener! 58 days until the Dallas Stars open up their regular season against the Chicago Blackhawks on October 9th at the American Airlines Center.

More and more and more and more ice. It just keeps going on and on and on and on. But considering it’s for a fantastic cause, that’s great! If you are feeling a bit generous today, click here to donate to the ALS foundation! Join us in fighting for a good cause.

On a similar note, here are the Dallas Stars who recently did it. The list is short from yesterday, but plenty of people still remain challenged that just haven’t followed through yet… The list of unfinished subjects includes ALES HEMSKY, KARI LEHTONEN, SERGEI GONCHAR, PATRICK EAVES, TREVOR DALEY, VALERI NICHUSHKIN, CODY EAKIN AND MORE. They might have done it by now, but no video has been released. I’ll make sure to keep my eyes out, though. Stay tuned.

But here is the list of yesterday’s contestants:

JASON SPEZZA:

JIM LITES, JIM NILL, AND BOB BASSEN AS A GROUP:

QUICK NOTE: JIM LITES AND THE STARS ORGANIZATION ANNOUNCED YESTERDAY THAT THEY HAVE OFFICIALLY DONATED A GRAND SUM TOTAL OF $20,000!!!

Did anyone catch Spezza’s daughter walk in at JUST the wrong time? Haha let’s hope she didn’t get it as bad as her father.

Also, did you happen to see Jim Nill’s and Bob Bassen’s faulty handshake in the background of President Lites’ speech? Haha it’s okay, he’s a genius, he can do what he wants!

I’ll keep you updated on any new IBC’s. The ice will keep flowing, hopefully.

Also, make sure to check out our Twitter page @BlackoutDallas for constant up-to-date ice bucket challenges and Dallas Stars news in general!

Who else do you want to see get challenged? Erik Cole and Patrik Nemeth remain as the only two Stars players who have not been challenged yet, so they may end up getting off the hook, haha.

Comments and questions below, and as always thanks for reading! Go Stars.
