Fiddler and Daley Named Assistant Captains

The Dallas Stars announced Tuesday that Vernon Fiddler and Trevor Daley will serve as assistant captains for the upcoming season. Fiddler will fill the void left by forward Ray Whitney, while Daley will serve as an assistant captain after a successful 2013-2014 term.
Daley is signed through to the 2016-2017 season while Fiddler inked a new two year deal this past summer.
These two will provide assistance to second year captain Jamie Benn.
