With school either already started or just around the corner for many students, why not take a little Dallas Stars test for fun? How well do you truly know the Stars organization and history?

The offseason is nearing its end, and that means hockey is within reach. In one month and one day, the World Cup of Hockey kicks off in Toronto and hockey is officially back.

This season is promising to be a thrilling one, especially for the Dallas Stars. After winning the Central Division with a stunning record of 50-23-9 with 109 points, the Stars made a sturdy charge through the postseason before being knocked out in seven games in the second round.

Some significant changes occurred over this past offseason that could either significantly hurt or help the Stars in 2016-17. The opportunities are wide open, and we really can’t estimate what will happen until the season gets underway and we see what Dallas is prepared for.

So we still have some free time between now and the World Cup, as well as training camp and the preseason. Why not spend the day by taking a fun little quiz to test your knowledge of the Dallas Stars? I know the people that have already returned to school are probably trying to avoid all the exams they can, but we promise this one will be a fun one.

Sorry also to all of the short-term memory folks who can’t remember what they ate for dinner yesterday. This might not be the test for you.

What we have below is 30 different questions pertaining to the Dallas Stars and the history of their franchise. Your job is to try and answer as many correct as possible to prove your dedication to victory green. Go ahead and grab a piece of paper and pen if you want, I’ll give you a minute.

The questions are all in a row, with the answers to each corresponding question listed at the bottom of the article. I tried to keep the majority of the questions pertaining to the last four years of Stars history, but there are a couple of prehistoric ones for all the oldies but goodies. The questions follow an easy-to-hard pattern for the most part, starting with one being the easiest.

And absolutely NO cheating. I’ll find you if you do. Maybe. Actually I probably won’t. I have to get back to school myself.

So without further ado, here is a hefty Dallas Stars examination. Good luck.
