Putting out the fire: Stars fall behind but fight back to win

AUTHOR: | IN: Stars | COMMENTS: None Yet

Stars 4, Flames 3 (Shootout) Better late then never right? That is how I feel with this post. Sorry been a couple of crazy days for me. But last night I got to venture again into the AAC to see the Stars come back in town to kick off 4-straight home games. And after scoring first, the Dallas Stars got behind to the Calgary Flames 3-1 just past the half-way point of the game. But Dallas fought back, stuck with how they were palying the game and sent it into OT 3-3.  Then Dallas did something they have had problems [...]

Still no change on the road, Van beats Dallas. Stars @ Oilers tonight

AUTHOR: | IN: Stars | COMMENTS: None Yet

Vancouver 4, Stars 3 = another road L Well there you have it folks. Another road game, another good effort for part of the game, but in the end it equals another lose on the road for the Dallas Stars. The Vancouver Canucks came back from being down 2-1 halfway through the game to take a 4-2 lead in the 3rd period, and ended up beating the Stars 4-3. The first period looked about even, if not slightly in the Stars favor. The two teams come out tied 1-1 after goals by each in the last 5 mins of the [...]

Start off looking stellar, Stars hold on to win 4-3 (trade value?)

Stars 4, Wild 3 Fun game to be at last night. Dallas Stars go up 4-0 before having to hold off the Minnesota Wild to win 4-3 last night at the AAC. For those of you who don’t know or have not read my introduction in my first post, I had season tickets for the last 2 years and plan on having them again next year. But this season I was not able to, and last night marked my first game of the season.  Here is our view last night: Star got out early and were attempting to be physical [...]

On 1/6/2010, I proclaim Marty Turco dead in net

AUTHOR: | IN: Popular, Stars | COMMENTS: 4 Comments

Rangers 5, Stars 2…Austin W: really pissed off! Rangers & Avery have big night vs. Turco & Stars Tonight was horrid. After getting outplayed last night in New Jersey, Dallas goes into Madison Square Garden and looks like crap again. Last night can be slightly explained, back-up goalie in the net and playing on of the top 5 teams in the league on the road. Just a bad effort. Tonight though has to be worse. Marty Turco has been letting in some weak goals all season long after not looking good last year either. But tonight two of the New [...]

Dragged under the snow-Now back home to face the B’Hawks

AUTHOR: | IN: Stars | COMMENTS: 1 Comment

Sorry about to the delay folks, I was out and about Saturday for this game. And then yesterday was spent laying down sick and watching a little bit of football when I could stay awake. The Dallas Cowboys winning and getting into the playoffs is great, but it was a rough weekend for the Dallas Stars. Saturday : Avs 4 – Stars 1 Saturday night the Stars continued their recent road struggles, and their struggles to string together wins. After picking up a 3-1 win Wed. night, the Stars looked like a different team on the road in Denver. Both [...]

Tripping up the wounded – Stars win 3-1 over stumbling Blue Jackets

AUTHOR: | IN: Stars | COMMENTS: 1 Comment

Stars played an overall solid game Wed. night to take home a nice 3-1 win. Sure it was against one of the worst teams in the league, and sure Columbus is now 0-7-3 in their last 10 on the road and 1-8-3 in December. But Dallas needed a win to not only build confidence, but also to try and gain momentum. After beating the hated Red Wings 4-3 and then playing good but losing to division rival San Jose 4-2 Monday, the win last night makes it three at least good games for the guys in black at home. This [...]
