
Big news today from the Allen Americans as they signed defenseman Alec Martinez, who won the Stanley Cup with the LA Kings in 2012. The Rochester, New York native signed a one year contract with the Americans after playing last year in LA. In the 51 games he played last year, he scored 6 goals and assisted on 6 for 12 points. Great signing for the Americans as they are currently in first place in the CHL with a 20-5-2 record for 42 points.
