Allen Americans Practice Update: Montgomery skating and much more…

Today, the Allen Americans were getting ready for their home and home series with both the Tulsa Oilers on Friday and Rapid City Rush on Saturday. The Americans were working on their passing and also on deflecting shots.

Big news for the Americans is that both Mike Montgomery and Brett Skinner, who have been out for a while with injuries, have been practicing with the team. Jarret Lukin who was practicing was battling with an illness and so was Nino Musitelli who didn’t practice. Also practicing with the team was Alec Martinez, who signed with the Americans. He was paired up with Trevor Ludwig on defense when they were practicing together.

The Americans will have one more team skate before they play against the Oilers on Friday, who is playing against the Quad City Mallards tonight, the same team the Americans shut out on New Year’s Eve, 4-0.
