On Thursday, ESPN.com reviled their Uni Watch Power Rankings for the National Hockey League and it turns out, the Dallas Stars may have one of the hottest uniforms in the NHL.

In June, the Dallas Stars unveiled their new uniforms, and it’s clear ESPN has approved their new look. In the sports networks power rankings, the Stars jumped 17 spots, the most of any team. The Stars ranked 29th last year, and with this large jump, they’re now sitting in 12th place.

Here’s what ESPN’s uniform guru Paul Lukas had to say.

"The new uniforms, unveiled in June, mark a welcome return to aesthetic respectability for the Stars. The only gripe here is that the new set doesn’t include gold, making this the first gold-free design in team history (dating back to the franchise’s Minnesota North Stars days) — a shame, since green and gold go so well together."

Personally, I would have ranked the Stars new uniforms in the top-ten, but I’m fine with with the 12th place spot.
