The Stars started Game #1 on the wrong foot, well if you scripted the first period and said give us the worst possible start nobody still would have set the bar at 4-0 deficit after the first period.
One thing that you have to like about this team is that they didn’t quit and kept on playing and gave themselves a chance to tie the final minutes. The Stars will need to take some quick notes and learn from their mistakes in Game #1 and not dig themselves such a deep hole so that they aren’t able to dig out from it. The Stars need to take it to the Ducks in the first period in Anaheim and get a lead and make the Duck play from behind.
