Every day, the Blackout Dallas team will post a series of these matches (for example, Trevor Daley vs Alex Goligoski in the Defenseman bracket) on which fans will vote. The winning side advances to the subsequent round, therefore facing their next opponent (the winner of the adjacent match).
The eight regions are the aforementioned Defenseman bracket, followed by Forwards, Goalies, Coaches, General Managers, Jerseys, Moments, and Seasons.
When the Elite Eight comes along, the moniker the NCAA uses to refer to its tournament’s final eight teams, the fields mix and get even more interesting. The winning defenseman will face off against the winning coach, the top forward will meet the top jersey, the preeminent goalie will take on the best season in Stars history, and the best goalie will square off against the top moment in team history.
