Come one, come all! The ultimate Dallas Stars fan test is here! Take the test, find out your score, and challenge your friends and family to see just who the biggest Stars fan truly is! Enjoy.

Gather ’round, Stars fans, gather ’round!

It is officially the month of June, and the high point of the 2017 NHL offseason is in sight. There are at the most five games remaining in the 2016-17 NHL calendar, and though the Dallas Stars aren’t featured in any of them, it’s always a good idea to savor each and every last one before the long wait for October begins.

There are plenty of storylines to follow in this year’s Stanley Cup Final for Stars fans, which at least makes it a bit more bearable considering the lack of Victory Green on the ice.

It was definitely a tough road for the Dallas Stars and their fan base during the 2016-17 season. Tough might actually be an understatement. The Stars dropped thirty points from their 2015-16 season total and finished with an ugly 34-37-11 record.

Dallas Stars

It was a horrific step back from last year when Dallas won the Central Division title and led the Western Conference in points during the regular season.

And that’s why the 2017 offseason will be one filled with change. The Stars already hired head coach Ken Hitchcock less than one week after the end of the regular season. They also signed Ben Bishop to be their new starting goaltender, giving them the confidence and consistency between the pipes that they have been lacking for years.

Things are certainly looking up for the Dallas Stars, who also own the third overall pick in the upcoming 2017 NHL Entry Draft.

That’s a good sign for Stars fans who are hoping for a big turnaround next year.

But how much of a Dallas Stars fan are you? How deep is your loyalty? How much of a Victory Green pureblood are you?

With a new wave of Stars fans arriving over the past four seasons, it is great to see the base reaching new levels. But are you a rookie fan or a seasoned veteran?

To celebrate the beginning of one of the most exciting times of the year in the hockey universe, I thought it’d be fun to put together a little test to examine your Stars knowledge and, consequently, see how deep your fandom runs.

So grab yourself a pencil and some paper.

This article is broken into five slides, each with 10 questions on it. As you approach each new level, the difficulty increases. For instance, level one will be questions that most everyday NHL fans can answer about the team while level five will contain questions that only diehard Stars fans will likely know.

Each question is worth two points and it all adds up to 100, so you will be able to calculate your own score. After each slide containing questions is a slide with the corresponding answers so you will be able to track your progress through each level.

Here at Blackout Dallas, we run on the honor system and we expect you to do the same. So that means no cheating and looking up the answers on Google or jumping ahead a slide to find them and giving yourself two points for “being savvy.” If you don’t know it, take a guess or just take the L and keep moving.

When you are done taking the test, challenge your friends, your family, or your dog. Share it, retweet it, text it, email it. Get all of your friends to take it and compare scores to see which one of you is the truest Dallas Stars fan of them all.

Enjoy, and may the odds be ever in your favor.
