The Dallas Stars return home for a quick game against the Vegas Golden Knights on Wednesday night. This will be the first matchup against the Knights this year for the Stars. Here is what the Stars need to do to remain undefeated at home this season.

Dallas Stars vs Golden Knights: 3. The crowd has to be into the game

The Stars need a packed house Wednesday night when the Golden Knights come to town. It’s got to be as loud as opening night was in the American Airlines Center. The Golden Knights should be frightened when they come out for warmups.

Dallas Stars vs Golden Knights: 2. Attack Lehner

I believe that Robin Lehner will be the goaltender between the pipes on Wednesday night since it’s a quick turnaround for the Golden Knights. That means he won’t be as tired and will be ready for the Stars offense. The Stars have to get pucks on the net or else they won’t be able to win the game.

Dallas Stars vs Golden Knights: 1. Aim at the net, not the surrounding areas

Stars fans are probably already tired of watching the Stars get shots on the net and it going wide all the time. Goals don’t count if they don’t go between the pipes. If the Stars don’t get accurate shots on the net, I don’t know how many sticks Bowness will break at practice.

Vegas Golden Knights players to watch

Robin Lehner

Lehner is a familiar name for Stars fans, he was the goaltender that the Stars went up against in the Western Conference finals a couple of years ago. Don’t be fooled by the low save percentage that he has currently, he is still a very dangerous goalie.

Chandler Stephenson

Stephenson is currently the leading scorer for the Golden Knights currently with three goals and three assists. The Stars need to make sure the puck stays out of his reach cause I don’t want to see him have a field day on Khudobin.
