The Dallas Stars return home to take on the Nashville Predators to start their long homestand at the American Airlines Center. The Stars look to use the home crowd to turn their season around. Here is how the Stars can turn their season around and get a win against the Predators.

Dallas Stars vs Nashville Predators preview: 3. Ride the crowd’s momentum

The Stars need to use the crowd’s momentum to pick up some wins at home. The next 9 of 11 games will be at the American Airlines Center. The Stars fanbase is loud and stands by their team win or lose. It’s time to use them to pick up nine wins here.

Dallas Stars vs Nashville Predators preview: 2. Stay out of the penalty box

The Stars need to stop rewarding their opponents by giving them the extra man advantage. I know this has been mentioned multiple times already this season, but Nashville is second in the league in scoring on the power play on the road this season. It’s time to make the Nashville Predators work for a win on the road.

Dallas Stars vs Nashville Predators preview: 1. Give the crowd something positive

Stars fans have been looking forward to packing the American Airlines Center after not being able to last season due to covid. The Stars need to bring that energy they had in the Candian bubble and show fans that they should be coming to home games this season.

Nashville Predators players to watch

Roman Josi

Josi looks like their primary setup player since he leads the team in assists through 12 games so far this season. If I’m the Stars, I would make sure to have a guy on him at all times so he doesn’t set up any goals tonight.

Matt Duchene

Stars fans shouldn’t have an issue recalling who Duchene is since he played on the Colorado Avalanche. So far this season, it looks like he hasn’t done much damage only scoring five goals. If I’m the Stars, I wouldn’t sleep on him tonight cause he’s still a very good scorer.
