This is one of those rare events where I can see Dallas Stars fans rooting for another teams player tonight. This is the first meeting between the Stars and the Columbus Blue Jackets since the Stars fan incident in Columbus. Here are how the Stars can win their 6th straight and let goaltender Elvis Merzlikins that most Stars fans are not like the one he encountered in Columbus.

If i’m Rick Bowness, i’m starting the Minutemen line again to start the game. That is the best line that the Stars have to create havoc and get momentum early. Who wouldn’t like another Roope Hintz hat trick? I know I wouldn’t mind seeing another one later tonight.

I know every fan is probably wanting Braden Holtby to start again after that grand larceny highlight that occurred against the Hurricanes in the final minute of the game. Jake Oettinger has proven to the franchise and the fans that he should be the number one option moving forward, no offense to Holtby.

For those who don’t remember what happened Merzlikins in Columbus, A Stars fan made a rude gesture towards him about his friend who died this summer. Thats now how are fanbase is towards our opponents before or during games. I hope the real Stars fans let him know we are sorry for his loss tonight.
