The Dallas Stars are not going to be on a future episode of Shark Tank, they will be taking on the San Jose Sharks tonight. This will be their first game against the former Pacific Division foe this season. The Stars look to start another winning streak while also battling a bug that is going around the team currently. Here is how the Stars can enter the Shark Tank and come out with a victory.
Dallas Stars vs San Jose Sharks: 3. Start out strong
The Dallas Stars need to start out strong in San Jose tonight. The Shark Tank is one of the ruthless arenas in the league to play in due to the rowdy fans they have. I would like to see that starting line for the Stars go out there and bury one past their goaltender to shut them up early on in the first period.
Dallas Stars vs San Jose Sharks: 2. Look alive out there
I know the Stars are currently battling a non-covid illness going around their locker room. It’s really not a good excuse to use since I’ve seen players battle the flu while basketball and play well. I gave them an excuse for the Kings loss due to the airport situation in Vegas but, I need to see some kind of effort out there tonight.
Dallas Stars vs San Jose Sharks: 1. Jam the puck past the goaltender
The Dallas Stars have to start being aggressive in front of the net and jamming the puck past the goaltender. It seemed like against the Kings they would shoot the puck at the goaltender and not chase the rebound off of Quick. They need to jam those rebounds past the goaltender if they want to score and win the game.
Sharks to Watch
Tomas Hertl
Hertl is the leading scorer for the Sharks entering tonight’s game against the Stars. I would expect him to circle around Oettinger or Holtby and jam the puck past them tonight. Hopefully, Miro can give him a couple of checks to remind him who he is playing against.
Logan Couture
Couture leads the team in assists with 16 and seems to be the guy who set up his teammates on the ice. Hopefully, he is highlighted on the scouting report and one of our best defenders is on him tonight. I don’t want to imagine what could happen if he’s not covered tonight.
