The Dallas Stars conclude their road trip with a game against the Lightning

The Dallas Stars conclude their mini Florida get away with a game against the 2021 Stanley Cup Champs, the Tampa Bay Lightning. This is going to be a very exciting game considering what happened a couple of years ago in the Canadian playoff bubble. Here is how the Stars can beat the Tampa Bay lightning on their home ice.
Dallas Stars vs Tampa Bay Lightning: 3. Play Dobby
When I saw the Stars call up Khudobin to back up Oettinger, I thought it was perfect timing considering the stretch of the schedule that Dobby would be up here. I would really like to see Dobby start against the Lightning. It’s more of a psychology move that could work in the Stars favor. However, it will just be good to see Dobby on the ice again in a Stars uniform.
Dallas Stars vs Tampa Bay Lightning: 2. 2020 Playoff run defense
The Stars have to bring that same defense that got them to the 2020 Stanley Cup finals. This team is loaded with weapons that can score at will. I’m not going to even do a player to watch section in this pre-game article since there are so many. If the Stars don’t bring the defense against this really good Lightning team, I would just burn the game tape after the game.
Dallas Stars vs Tampa Bay Lightning: 1. Bring the offense
The Stars have to bring the offense against the Lightning. I’m concerned if the Stars get behind in this game that they won’t have a shot to get back in it unlike some other games this season. My favorite type of hockey offense is one that strikes quickly and often. If the Stars want to get revenge on the Lightning for winning the 2020 Stanley Cup, They have to strike early and often in the 1st period.
