SWell the first half of the 2021-22 season is about to wrap up for the Dallas Stars Tuesday as they take on the Calgary Flames. The Stars have a break this weekend as the 2022 NHL All-Star game
Dallas Stars vs the Calgary Flames: 3. Finish the first half of the season strong
The first half of the season wraps up on Tuesday for the Dallas Stars as they go into the NHL All-Star break. I would like to see the Stars win so that way they have some momentum coming out of the break. It would also be great to kick off February on the right foot so that way we can win those division games that we have to make up this month.
Dallas Stars vs the Calgary Flames: 2. Score at will like this last Sunday
I was kind of surprised at how the Stars scored at will against a good Bruins team. I think it was because they wanted to flip the script from what happened against the Capitals. It will be a lot harder this game since Jacob Markstrom starts tonight against Dallas. He has a .924 save percentage so Dallas can’t do “the dump and chase dance” against Calgary. The Stars have to use the “shoot the puck at will” offense.
Dallas Stars vs the Calgary Flames: 1. Continue to get Seguin involved in the offense
Tyler Seguin had a good game before turning thirty by scoring two goals and adding an assist. I would like to see Bowness continue to get him involved on the ice. I know he’s got a lot left in the tank offensively and we need to get him scoring in February. If we can get him and Jamie Benn scoring goals, we have a good shot at getting into a position to make the playoffs.
