Dallas Stars look to get revenge tonight in Colorado

The Dallas Stars have a chance to get revenge on the Colorado Avalanche after getting shut out by them on Sunday afternoon. This would be a perfect oppertunity for them to get back to winning as this stretch of eight divisional games is crucial if they want to be in the playoffs. Here are the goals for the Stars tonight if they want to steal a win on the road.

The Stars did somewhat of a good job on Sunday of this, but they forgot to guard Gabriel Landeskog who has 22 goals on the year going into this game Tuesday. If the Stars can shut down their young scorers including Landeskog, they will be in a good position to steal a divisional game on the road.

I know the Stars can play great defense, but it’s always been on and off for that all season long. The Stars probably wouldn’t be in this situation on defense was consistent from game to game.

The Stars had a really bad day at the goaltending position as Holtby allowed 4 goals in the game Sunday against the Avs. I think its time to see what Oettinger can do against this club. He has a 13-5 record this year and a .910 save percentage. Last thing you want to happen is for Holtby to start again and have Deja Vu from Sunday effect him.

What a statement it would be for the Stars to go into Ball Arena and take the crowd out the game early with a big league. That’s what the mindset has to be for the Stars going into the game tonight. If they allow Colorado to get early goals like on Sunday, its going to be a long night for them.
