Meme Tweets Blackout Dallas edition: Dallas Stars trade deadline

This will be the conclusion of our trade deadline series for the Dallas Stars this year. Something people don’t know about me is that I’m a big fan of puns. So that way we don’t get in trouble with Jimmy Kimmel, we will call this Meme Tweets.

Dallas Stars fans started voicing their frustration online when last week when it was reported that the Stars would most likely be staying put at the Trade Deadline as usual. The Stars are a couple of pieces away from possibly making the playoffs this season and it doesn’t look good when your team doesn’t want to improve.

A couple of days ago, I asked our Blackout Dallas readers to submit their favorite memes

Now last night the Stars did trade a 2023 4th round draft pick to Arizona for Scott Wedgewood. That was most likely due to Braden Holtby’s injury being a lot more serious than it was reported. That trade really didn’t help the Star’s constant defensive or scoring issues on the ice.

And our final submission is from sighsamuel is one I think all Stars fans have at the deadline. What’s funny about this one is he created and posted the meme and a minute later the Stars made a trade with Detroit.
