The Dallas Stars won’t be giving a pitch to Mark Cuban and the rest of the sharks on Shark Tank. Instead, they will have another late-night away game on the pacific coast in San Jose taking on the Sharks in the Shark Tank. I know the Blackout Dallas fanbase is tired of these late-night games and just wanted to let you know we are almost done with them. Here is what the Stars need to do to escape The Shark Tank and walk away with two points.

Dallas Stars vs San Jose Sharks Preview: 3. Give Jake Oettinger a night off

The last thing that the Stars need to do is drive Otter into the ground trying to get into the playoffs. Scott Wedgewood has shown he’s capable of playing backup goalie and can allow Otter to get a breather here and there. This would be the perfect time for Wedgewood to start and give Oettinger a break for a game or two.

Dallas Stars vs San Jose Sharks Preview: 2. Stars need to get the rest of the team involved in the offense

The goal scorers for the Stars in the recent games have been players that typically don’t score. Andrej Sekera and Ryan Suter can’t carry the offensive load for the Stars. Jamie Benn, Tyler Seguin, and company have to chip in on offense for this team to have a chance at making the playoffs.

I would like to see these guys the Stars pay the big bucks to contribute on offense tonight. Right now they are playing like they aren’t not contributing to the class group project.

Dallas Stars vs San Jose Sharks Preview: 1. Win this for Joe Pavelski

Joe Pavelski is returning to where he played a majority of his career at. What better way to celebrate his return is by winning by a mile against his former team. Would be a fun thing to see and the Stars would also continue their momentum towards making the playoffs.
