The Dallas Stars conclude their pacific road trip with a stop in Seattle to take on the Kraken. This will be the final game of the season against the Kraken. This will be the first time the Stars play at Climate Pledge Arena in Franchise history. They were eliminated from the playoffs recently and they have nothing to lose playing the Stars. Here are the keys to the game as the Stars look to wrap this trip up with a W.

Dallas Stars vs Seattle Kraken Preview: 3. Attack at will

Recently, the Kraken can’t get anything to go right for them on the ice. They weren’t built in a day like the Las Vegas Golden Knights were when they first came into the league. The Stars need to continue to get their offense going before we start playing teams that are fighting for that last playoff spot in the West. What better way to prepare for those teams is by running up the score on the Kraken.

Dallas Stars vs Seattle Kraken Preview: 2. Stay Alert

Since the Kraken have been officially eliminated from the playoffs this season, they have nothing to lose. Stars need to keep an alert and open mind going into this matchup because the Kraken are preparing for next season. I consider this a trap game for the Stars and hopefully, they take the Kraken seriously.

Dallas Stars vs Seattle Kraken Preview: 1. Keep rotating the goaltenders

The Stars need to start rotating the goaltenders more frequently as the season comes to a close this month. In case of the Stars end up getting into the playoffs, the last thing they want is Jake Oettinger so fatigued and burned out from playing so many games in a row. Scott Wedgewood was brought in so that way Oettinger can get breaks here and there. Bowness has to start rotating them starting tonight.
