Well, now the pressure is all on the Dallas Stars after beating the Las Vegas Golden Knights in a shootout last night. All the Stars need to do is make it to OT or win the game and they can clinch their playoff spot. The Stars are going to be tired since they went seven rounds in a shootout so it won’t be a simple win against the Coyotes. Arizona is out of the postseason and wants to ruin Dallas’s chance. Here is what the Stars need to do to get that one point to make the playoffs.

Dallas Stars vs Arizona Coyotes Preview: 3. Just make it to OT

It’s literally simple as that folks, Stars could play poorly tonight and still make the playoffs. As long as they force OT, the Stars can punch their playoff ticket even if they lose. Getting those two points against Vegas the last night was huge and it would be great to see the Stars wrap it up tonight against the Arizona Coyotes.

Dallas Stars vs Arizona Coyotes Preview: 2. Play Wedgewood in net

It would be the most savage thing that Rick Bowness could do to the Arizona Coyotes tomorrow night. Jake Oettinger is probably going to be exhausted after going 7 rounds in the shootout. It would be cool to see Scott Wedgewood shut out his former team on home ice Wednesday night. Let Oettinger get some rest cause he will need it against Colorado or Calgary in the first round.

Dallas Stars vs Arizona Coyotes Preview: 1. Get some offensive practice in

Since the Stars are playing against our rivals in the final two games of the season, let’s practice some offense on them. The Stars need to get their other lines scoring if they want to go head to head against Colorado or Calgary. If the coaches can get the other lines to score instead of our top line, I’d consider that a win.
