Dallas Stars vs Anaheim Ducks: 3rd period recap
Now fans that attended the game got to witness something unusual that doesn’t happen that often in the NHL. An Emergency Goaltender was brought in for the Ducks as Stolarz couldn’t come back into the game due to an injury that was looked at during the 2nd intermission. Thomas Hodges who was the Emergency Goaltender on hand would come out in Stars colored pads to fill in for the Ducks for the remainder of the game.
Unfortunately, Hodges wasn’t ready for a power play and Jason Robertson would score his 41st of the season to make it 3-2 Stars. Vladislav Namestnikov would score the empty netter for a final of 4-2 Stars.
