Dallas Stars 2022-23 Opening Night Roster: Wyatt Johnston
The Stars will have some newcomers on the roster this season. One of those is 1st round draft pick, Wyatt Johnston. Johnston had an amazing season last year with the Windsor Spitfires of the OHL. He had a total of 124 points (46 G and 78 A) last season and picked up the OHL Most Valuable Player Award.
While it’s exciting that fans will get to see Wyatt Johnston make his NHL debut Thursday night, there is a catch. There’s a possibility that he could get sent back to the Spitfires if he doesn’t do well in the first nine games of the season or gets injured. Based on how he performed this preseason, fans would be shocked if he ended up back in Windsor for another season. I don’t think he will, but we will find out by the beginning of November if he stays on the roster.
Dallas Stars 2022-23 Opening Night Roster: Pavalski and Sons Reunite
Dallas Stars Head Coach Pete DeBoer will most likely keep the most productive line from last season together. Pavelski and Sons consisting of Joe Pavelski, Roope Hintz, and Jason Robertson will be back together starting on Thursday night. I can’t wait to see how many goals this line will score this season.
