The Dallas Stars look to get back to winning after losing the last two games against the St. Louis Blues. This will be the first time that the two divisional teams will meet this season. The Blues are coming off a huge comeback similar to what Dallas did against Chicago. The Stars need to come out strong against the Blues in what will be a dogfight. They need to set the tone against this St. Louis Blues team if they want to keep first place in the division.

Dallas Stars vs St. Louis Blues Preview: 3. Get Jason Robertson the puck

The Dallas Stars need to get Jason Robertson getting shots on net early on in the first period. Currently, he is the number one goal scorer in the entire league. He has really improved during the offseason and fans have definitely noticed in the first two months of the season. In the last game against the Avalanche, he felt sort of absent on the ice only picking up an assist on the only Stars goal. Hopefully, the Blues have a case of the Mondays and forget to guard him tomorrow night.

Dallas Stars vs St. Louis Blues Preview: 2. Stay out of the box

The Stars desperately need to stay out of the penalty box. The Stars committed a penalty with in the first 37 seconds of the game. That is totally unacceptable since the Avalanche were able to capitalize on it which gave them momentum. The Stars can play good aggressive hockey, just need to do it without committing penalties. Let’s turn the tide tonight and stay out of the box.

Dallas Stars vs St. Louis Blues Preview: 1. Silence Jordan Kyrou And Brayden Schenn

The Stars need to keep an eye on St. Louis Blues players Jordan Kyrou and Brayden Schenn. They are their current top scorers going into this game. If you are wondering why the last name Kyrou sounds familiar, it’s because the Stars just drafted his younger brother this summer. Hopefully the Stars are able to corral these two tonight and take home a victory.
