You forget to get your loved one something for Valentines Day? Did you accidentally forget to make reservations for Valentines Day dinner? Well you are in luck if you live in the city of Dallas and if your loved one is a hockey fan. The Dallas Stars are set to host the Boston Bruins in a massive showdown at the AAC tonight. The top teams from the Eastern Conference and the Western Conference are set for a showdown of the ages tonight in the city of Dallas.
Dallas Stars vs Boston Bruins Preview: 3. Attack the net
I don’t know who will be starting in net for the Bruins tonight but both are equally good goaltenders. The Stars just need to be relentless in their attack on either goaltender tonight. I don’t care who their goaltender is, just attack the net and get out to a super early lead. The last thing you want to do is give Boston any type of reason in the third period to come back and win in regulation or overtime. Just be nasty and keep attacking even if we are up 4-0.
Dallas Stars vs Boston Bruins Preview: 2. Shut down Pastrnak and Bergeron
The Stars’ defense needs to be ready for David Pastrnak and Patrice Bergeron tonight. These are the most two lethal scorers that the Bruins have in their lineup tonight. I don’t care if the Stars need to commit a penalty in order to stop these two Bruins from scoring. These two just can’t have the puck touch their sticks at all tonight.
Dallas Stars vs Boston Bruins Preview: 1. Give Jim Montgomery a unhappy homecoming
Now I have no hard feelings towards former Dallas Stars coach Jim Montgomery. He was a great coach for the Stars until he was fired. The Stars need to make sure to show him tonight what he has missed out coaching in Dallas. Hopefully Jason Robertson and Roope Hintz put on a show tonight scoring some goals and Jake Oettinger shuts them out showing NHL fans which of the top teams is the best one.
