It’s one of those super rare scheduling conflicts that happen sometimes in the NHL. The Dallas Stars will remain in Seattle to take on the Kraken again tonight. If you all remember from Saturday night, Miro Heiskanen buried a saucer pass from Max Domi to give the Stars two points in their quest to win the Central Division. With the Minnesota Wild losing in OT last night, it kept them from tying the Stars for first in the Central Division. This is a very crucial game if the Stars want to remain in the first place.

Dallas Stars vs Seattle Kraken: 3. Have to win in regulation

This is definitely a game where the Stars need to win in regulation and get two more points to add to their collection. With the Minnesota Wild only a point behind the Stars in the Central Division, every win is crucial for the Stars from here on out. They need to come out on all cylinders and fillet the Kraken tonight. I don’t care if the Stars have to get a little dirty to do it, they need the two points. A win here tonight would be a huge momentum swing for the Stars.

Dallas Stars vs Seattle Kraken: 2. Time for Wyatt “Red Bull” Johnston’s career game

The Stars need a huge game from their rookie tonight as they look to get the two points from the Kraken. Wyatt Johnston is up for the Calder Trophy this year for the NHL’s top rookie. Matty Beniers had his game on Saturday night, it’s time for Johnson to one-up his game tonight. With the voters more than likely watching this game, Johnson could swing some votes from Beniers tonight.

Dallas Stars vs Seattle Kraken: 1. Going to need a huge game from Oettinger

I’m sort of concerned for Jake Oettinger going into this matchup tonight. He has had some very uncharacteristic games down the stretch recently with Wedgewood recovering from injury. The Stars need him to be at his best tonight in order to get two crucial points from the Kraken. He can get a break on Tuesday when the Stars play the Canucks. If Oettinger is on his A-game tonight, I like our chances at getting the second win in a row against the Kraken.
