The Dallas Stars need to flip the script in game 4 against the Minnesota Wild tonight. The last thing that this team needs is to fall into a 3-1 series deficit and be on the brink of elimination. The Wild will be licking their chops if they get a chance to eliminate the Stars on home ice in game 5 Tuesday night. Everyone on the ice needs to do their part to tie this series back up at 2 games apiece. Let’s start this series over tied up and may the best team win in a best-of-three series.

I hope to see a masterpiece by Jason Robertson who has somewhat been present on the ice during the series but not as much as he should be. You have to give the Wild some credit for shutting down our top line with Joe Pavelski out due to a concussion. The Stars have been down 2-1 in a series before and came back with a vengeance and won the series. Take a look below at the tweet that I shared on Twitter with you guys Friday night.

All Dallas has to do is punch Minnesota in the mouth for three more games this season and we won’t see them until next season. With all the Wild players that are playing with injuries right now, we shouldn’t be struggling this badly. The Stars looked like a puppy scared shaking in the corner after the first period. I know how good this Stars team is and I know they can do it. They just have to come out swinging tonight to get this series tied up.

Now, I did see some people on Twitter Saturday that Dallas Stars Head Coach Pete DeBoer went to the “Jason Garrett School of Coaching”. Pete DeBoer did the right thing on Friday by not completely deviating from the game plan they drew up.

The last thing you want to do in the playoffs is abandon the entire game plan that you came up with. Yes, he could have tweaked it here and there but the last thing that you want to do is have complete confusion on the ice between players. Pete DeBoer knows how to navigate the playoffs and I trust him tonight to make changes where they are needed. The Stars need to trust their coach and go out there and tie the series up at 2 tonight.
