The Dallas Stars recently wiped out any and all of the Minnesota Wild’s chances at winning The Cup this year. They certainly put up a good fight, but now it’s onto Dallas’ next victim: The Seattle Kraken. So far, the Seattle Kraken have scored first in each one of their games in Round 1 against the Colorado Avalanche. Well, I hate to break it to them, but no matter who scores first in Round 2 against the Stars, the Kraken will not be moving onto the Conference Finals.

Game 1 starts tonight at 8:30PM CST on ESPN, so be sure to tune in to watch the blood bath!

What will happen during the Dallas Stars vs. Seattle Kraken game tonight? Here’s just a bit of a preview!

The Seattle Kraken were a Wild Card team over in the Western Conference, but somehow they still managed to force an upset against the Colorado Avalanche. And wow…what a series. That being said, there’s absolutely no reason to count the Kraken out of anything just yet. This upcoming series against our Stars will definitely be a good one.

The Kraken had a good sense of defense during the first round, even though they only managed to score 18 goals in the whole entire series, with only three of them being from the last two games. If the Kraken even want a mere chance at winning a game, let along the series against the Stars, players like Matthew Beniers and Jordan Eberle must step up.

The Dallas Stars showed some pretty heavy dominance in the first round against the Minnesota Wild, even though things were looking just a bit rough at times. They scored a total of 21 goals in the whole entire series, with eight of them being from their last two games.

The Stars have some pretty star players, no pun intended, that need to continue to step up their game and do what they’re doing if the Stars want that second round dub. Players such as Tyler Seguin, Roope Hintz, Jason Robertson, and hopefully one day again Joe Pavelski are pivotal players to the Stars’ success that must be taken care of in the Round 2 series against the Kraken.

Overall, I think that this whole entire series will be a tough one, but overall, here’s a prediction:

Dallas Stars win in Overtime with a 3-2 victory.
