A lot of fans have been concerned about some of the players on the Dallas Stars’ top line this season during the postseason run so far. We have seen Jason Robertson go from scoring goals to being a wanted face on a milk carton.

Rope Hintz and Joe Pavelski have provided offense this postseason but the Stars need a spark to even this series up tonight. This morning, Pete DeBoer made the decision to bring back the Pavelski and Sons line for game 4 against the Kraken. Here are the three keys of the game for the Dallas Stars to even this series up at two games a piece.

Dallas Stars vs Seattle Kraken Preview: 3. Reunite the top line

As I mentioned above, DeBoer reunited the top line for game 4 tonight in order to get some offense going to turn this series around. It will be very interesting to see if somehow this can spark Jason Robertson out of the drought that he is in right now scoring. I expect these three to be flying up and down the ice during every shift that they are given. It’s good to see them back and hopefully, they make a huge impact here tonight.

Dallas Stars vs Seattle Kraken Preview: 2. Shut the passing lanes down

The Stars need to shut down the passing lanes of the Seattle Kraken tonight. They showed how it was done in game 2 of this series by moving their sticks forcing the Kraken to make an unwise pass for a turnover. They did a partially good job in game 3 on Sunday night. During the first period, they kept the Kraken from entering the Stars zone and were forced to dump it in. If you are going to beat the Kraken, you got to force them to play “Rick Bowness hockey”.

Dallas Stars vs Seattle Kraken Preview: 1. Be like the Golden Knights

The Stars have got to get out to a quick start and shut down the Kraken and their fan base. if you remember in game 3, once the Kraken scored that first goal, it was off to the races for them. The Stars need to play like the Golden Knights did and get out to that very early lead. If they don’t do this, the Stars could be on the edge of the cliff looking at elimination in game 5 back in Dallas.
