The Dallas Stars season is on the line tonight as the Stars enter Game 4
The Dallas Stars now have their backs officially against the wall as they enter Game 4 tonight. Down 3-0 in the series against the Vegas Golden Knights, the Stars’ chances at making the Stanley Cup finals look very bleak. They didn’t show up on Tuesday night and the Vegas Golden Knights took advantage of it. With the Eastern Conference Finals already decided, they are just waiting on the Stars and the Golden Knights to wrap things up. Let’s take a look at the three keys of the game for the Stars as they wish to extend their season.
Dallas Stars vs Vegas Golden Knights Preview: 3. Who’s going to step up as Captain tonight?
With Jamie Benn suspended for his stupid follow through check he preformed, the Stars will need a leader on the ice tonight. Could we see Tyler Seguin step up to be the captain or could we see Joe Pavelski step up and be a temporary captain? I don’t know who Pete DeBoer will give the nod to but the Stars will need someone to be a voice tonight on the ice to extend this series.
Dallas Stars vs Vegas Golden Knights Preview: 2. Fire the puck at the net
The Stars need to fire the puck at the opposing goaltender tonight. In Game 3, the Stars were unable to create multiple scoring chances and it effected how the game turned out. Adin Hill needs to be tested throughout the game tonight. I feel like the Stars have basically given him a “series off” right before the Stanley Cup Finals.
Dallas Stars vs Vegas Golden Knights Preview: 1. Play Mavrik Bourque
The Stars need to play Mavrik Bourque tonight against the Golden Knights. He is one of the Stars’ top prospects and I would like to get a preview of him tonight. We are more than likely going to see him next season with the Stars and fans who attend the game tonight deserve to see him in action. We are already down 3-0 to the Golden Knights what do the Stars have to lose.
