The Dallas Stars thank their fans for a season filled with passion and pride
The Dallas Stars’ quest for the Stanley Cup officially came to an end last night when they were completely embarrassed at home to the Vegas Golden Knights, losing 6-0. They got completely shelled to put it nicely, but that definitely didn’t stop said Stars fans from showing their pride and passion for their team. The Dallas Stars owe it somewhat to the fans for never giving up even when just a week ago, their future looked grim, then turned positive.
The Dallas Stars certainly had a great season. They’ve thanked their fans for filling it with the utmost passion and pride!
Dallas will very unfortunately not be seeing another Stanley Cup being hoisted up into the air. Their season came to a very unfortunate and quite frankly embarrassing halt last night when they got completely shelled and stomped on by the Vegas Golden Knights 6-0.
Dallas Stars Offseason Plans
Whenever the season is over, players go their separate ways for the summer and unwind from the long season. Some decide to go golfing while others planned to get married. The Stars probably won’t pay attention to the Stanley Cup Finals due to the realization that they were that close to representing the Western Conference in the Finals. Let’s take a look at what some of the players are doing this offseason.
Jake Oettinger
We definitely know where this guy will be at. As an avid golfer, you can find Jake Oettinger at any golf course. After playing an excessive amount of games as a goaltender in his first full season between the pipes, he deserves to hit the links this summer. Jake Oettinger said that he is very grateful to be a part of a great organization like the Dallas Stars at his exit interview.
Jason Robertson
Jason Robertson had an outstanding year and one Stars fans didn’t see coming from a mile away. Robertson is already having a great start to his offseason plans as he made the first pitch at Dallas Stars night at the Texas Rangers game yesterday. Right now, he is counting down the days until training camp starts up in the fall.
Pete DeBoer
I’m sure Dallas Stars Coach Pete DeBoer is going to take some time at the beginning of the offseason to reflect on what a huge year the Stars had under his guidance. In his exit Interview, he mentioned he is proud of his group being one of the last three teams standing in the playoffs. He also mentioned that the team should be super proud of their accomplishments. I bet you he can’t wait for the start of next season when the American Airlines Center is packed and rooting on the Stars again.
