Basically, the Stars are running it back with the same roster with some new additions to the roster. Sam Smith, Craig Smith, and Matt Duchene join the Stars this season as they look to get back to the Western Conference Finals. This was the roster most fans were anticipating the Stars would have by the end of training camp. The fans got to see some good young talent this preseason and hopefully, we will see them up here during the season.
Dallas Stars Opening Night Roster: Pete DeBoer Press Conference
Pete DeBoer spoke to the media today about how he thought preseason went. He said it was a very competitive camp and they accomplished both of the goals that the coaching staff wanted to see from the team. The one thing that DeBoer wished could have happened was to have an opening night lineup for the last two preseason games. It didn’t happen due to the Roope Hintz, Wyatt Johnston, and Radek Faksa injuries. If you would like to see more of the interview, check it out here.
