Dallas Stars vs. Ottawa Senators: Game Time, Broadcast, Lines, Injuries
After a four-game homestand to start the season, the Dallas Stars are finally taking things on the road.
The Dallas Stars will play tonight in Ottawa and then tomorrow night in New Jersey before coming back home for another three games.
Seven out of nine at home is certainly a nice way to start the season, and the Stars have done well with the home ice advantage, starting out 3-1-0.
Last season, the team went 1-3-0 to start, so this is a much better start for them.

Coming into the season, Ottawa was a bit of a mess. They lost their captain and had the whole Hoffman fiasco happen, in addition to their usual issues with owner Eugene Melnyk. There was also the looming reality that they traded away their first-round pick in 2020 and that it may end up being a high pick because they were looking like they might be terrible.
So far, they haven’t been as bad as they could’ve been, going a mediocre 2-2-1, which includes a win over the Leafs. It should definitely be a winnable game for the Stars, but probably not the pushover that teams may have expected after the departure of Erik Karlsson.
As the two road games are back-to-back, expect Ben Bishop in goal tonight and Anton Khudobin to get the start tomorrow. The scratched players will also probably draw into the line-up tomorrow, though that will depend on how everyone plays tonight.
