Dallas Stars vs. Los Angeles Kings: Game Time, Broadcast, Injuries
After losing three straight, the Dallas Stars will take on the Kings tonight in an attempt to break their streak.
The Dallas Stars started the season strong, going 3-1-0, but hit a wall on scoring.
There were only 2 goals in the last three games, showing just how much the Stars have a depth scoring problem.
The team shuffled the roster around a bit over the weekend, sending Roope Hintz back to the AHL and calling up Justin Dowling to replace him.

Adding to the problems for the Stars, Alexander Radulov will be out again tonight. He’s one of the few players on the team who has actually produced offensively.
Radulov’s absence is concerning for the team, but he hasn’t been placed on IR and it doesn’t appear to be a serious or long-term problem. That’s good news, but his offensive skills are crucial to the team winning at this point, and every game he misses could make a difference by the end of the season.
With Radulov still out, Jim Montgomery said he may decide to dress 11 forwards instead of 12, using that spot for a seventh defenseman instead.
It’s a tactic that occasionally works out for teams, but this team needs every possible offensive player they can get at this point. None of the forwards are scoring in the first place, which is clearly this team’s biggest problem right now, but going with 11 instead of 12 isn’t going to improve the possibility that one of them starts producing.
With Montgomery undecided on the scratches and an optional morning skate, lines are up in the the air, but there is one that we know. Tyler Pitlick will replace Radulov on the top line tonight.

Dallas Stars Injury Report
Martin Hanzal: Hanzal is still out with his back injury for at least another month, but he is skating, which is a good sign.
Stephen Johns: Johns had his first full practice without suffering from the symptoms of his post-traumatic headaches, so he may be able to return soon. He may return this upcoming weekend.
Valeri Nichushkin: Nichushkin still isn’t ready to come back from his latest injury, but he’s not on IR at this point.
Alexander Radulov: After missing the game against the Wild on Friday, Radulov will be out again tonight.
Los Angeles Kings Injury Report
Jonny Brodzinski: Brodzinski is on IR indefinitely as he has been dealing with a shoulder injury since before the season.
Dustin Brown: Brown broke a finger during preseason and is still out for a bit longer.
The Stars seriously need to bounce back and take this game, but the Kings are in an even worse position and will be fighting hard for it.
