Last week, the Dallas Stars took on the Blue Jackets and lost 4-1 to end their six-game road trip. Tonight, they’ll get a chance at a rematch.

The Dallas Stars have been rocked with injuries, but they’re getting one major player back ahead of tonight’s game: Alexander Radulov.

Radulov is going to help give the Stars an offensive boost as they take on the Blue Jackets.

The Stars are coming off of an overtime loss to the best team in the Central, and Nashville has a 13-3-0 record. Now, the Stars are taking on the best team in the Metropolitan, but that doesn’t have the same meaning, because the Blue Jackets are at the top of the Metro despite having the same record as the Stars.

The Stars actually sit one spot higher in the league standings because of a tie breaker, in eleventh place in the league while only fourth in the Central. It goes to show just how wildly competitive the Central is again this season.

Radulov’s return tonight means the lines are shuffling around as Montgomery puts the top line back together, but the defense is still a mess.

Ben Gleason and Joel Hanley, both of whom came up before the game on Saturday, are sticking around as the third pairing, while Dillon Heatherington was sent back to the Texas Stars. Gleason had a fantastic game on Saturday, and it’s no surprise the Stars decided on keeping him up right now.
