The Dallas Stars have one last home game before they head out on the road, where they’ll play seven of their next eight games.

Tonight’s game will be another rematch this week for the Dallas Stars as they take on the Bruins after losing to them last week.

The Stars are going into tonight’s game missing John Klingberg, Connor Carrick, Stephen Johns, and Marc Methot.

That’s been a huge factor for the Stars lately, but at least the Bruins are in the same boat, with a defensive line-up filled with injuries.

More from Blackout Dallas

For the Bruins, they’re most notably missing captain Zdeno Chara, but they also have Brandon Carlo, Charlie McAvoy, Kevan Miller, and Urho Vaakanainen out on injured reserve.

It’s going to be a battle of the injured defenses, so tonight’s game could get high scoring, depending on how the goaltenders are playing. Ben Bishop will get the start for the Stars, and he’s been splitting his net much more evenly with Anton Khudobin lately.

That’s not to say that Bishop’s not been good and he’s losing his starting job, but more to say that Khudobin has come in and been exceptional. They’ve both made mistakes, as is absolutely expected, but they’ve definitely each saved some wins for the Stars.

This upcoming road trip has a pair of back-to-back games, as does the following road trip a week later, and both Bishop and Khudobin will certainly get their chance to show off their skills.

The Stars took the Bruins to overtime last week, but they’ll try to get a win tonight, even if it has to go past regulation again.
